The first class for teens and adults who have never sewn or need a basics refresher.  We will cover sewing machine basics--major parts, threading, bobbin use, simple maintenance and operation.  You will learn about seam allowance, to stitch straight, back tack, turn corners, pressing and to trouble shoot threading issues.  Leave with a completed project:  a small, quilted purse.   All supplies for this class are provided by the lounge.  Use  one of our machines or bring your own if you want to learn it specifically.  Serves as the prereq for Adult Beginning Sewing I.
